FOR LOW VALUE ITEMS UP TO FIVE OR SIX LPS CAN BE SENT IN THE UK FOR THE SAME PRICE AS ONE. FOR MANY EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, WE CAN SEND AS MANY AS 30 (OR EVEN MORE) LPS FOR LESS THAN 30GBP PLUS INSURANCE. This comes from the estate of a fastidious non-smoking hi-fi buff who always had the highest quality record deck, arm and cartridge. His last system, which I sold for the estate on a hi-fi forum, was a Michell Orbe with a fantasticly expensive arm and cartridge (over 10000GBP's worth new, just for the record playing equipment).
I have taken each LP from its sleeve and visually inspected it. Very few spindle marks or other scuffs were seen. Many may have specks of dust. The coverss are generally in near mint condition - they were all in protective plastic sleeves - with some wear to some corners. The inner sleeves look generally original and are in excellent condition except in a few cases where the glue has discoloured the paper at the edges. None of the records has been cleaned or played by me. I don't have the time or equipment, and I certainly don't have a good enough record deck and cartridge to be confident of playing these records without decreasing their value. I am used to handling records, though, so they have been carefully handled for the photographs.
VERY IMPORTANT: Because these records have not been cleaned or tested, they are sold AS IS, WITH NO RETURNS - hence the low start price for these collectable and beautiful records.
The records will be very well packed - we are very used to packing and shipping fragile and valuable items all round the world. We will NOT remove records from the sleeve unless specifically requested. I personally prefer to have the cover doing its job of protecting the vinyl. We will use a plastic protective sleeve inside a proper mailer with good stiffeners.
If you wish us to combine postage we will do it with pleasure - but will need to work out the shipping price on an individual basis.
These records are sold UNTESTED and AS IS. They will definitely need removal of specks of dust.
