ORIGINAL GERMAN PRESSING on MPS (21 20907-5) from 1971. TOP EUROPEAN JAZZ SESSION with a refined LATIN and BRAZILIAN FLAVOUR. American guitarist IRA KRIS leads a small combo of international musicians, including JUAN ROMERO (guitar), FRANK St. PETER (flute), JIMMY WOODE (bass) and TONY INZALACO (drums). Features versions of Brazilian standards by EDU LOBO, BADEN POWELL and ROBERTO MENESCAL, as well as two original compositions. Seldom shows up for sale. Vinyl is in strong VG condition (overall close to VG+, with light scruffs and hairlines but with a couple of marks causing 2 audible clicks on the track “Inside my Head” and one pop on the track “Juanito”. I played the whole record and found the playback very pleasing overall, despite some light surface noise. Please check the soundclip). The label on side A has a name written in pen, plus a felt point writing and signs of the removal of one sticker. The label on side B has a name written in pen. Laminated gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition (light wear and creasing).
