Considered one of the greatest cellists of the 20thcentury, celebrated Russian virtuoso Daniel Shafran (1923-90) performs twogorgeous cello sonatas recorded several weeks after his American debut atCarnegie Hall. Superb RCA sound recording & one of the most sought aftercello recordings!
Cover:Very Fine to Mint Minus.
FrontBottom is missing a 3/4 inch by ¼ inch strip of cover color. Top edge has 1 inchsplit near opening and about 12-15 very small color chips where white showsthrough. Spine has 2 or 3 indents, but no chipping. Bottom has wear where pinkcolor is worn away in several places, wear near opening.

Track1 11 o’clock: extremely slight scuff mark. 11 o’clock 1” long, extremely weakneedle mark. These do not sound.
Track2 9 o’clock and 10 o’clock extremely slight scuff mark. These do not sound.
Track3 12 o’clock a hairline needle mark for ½ inch that runs into Track 4. This isvery slight and does not sound. 11:30 o’clock scuff mark that is very slight.3PM extremely slight scuff mark that does not sound.
Track4 hairline needle mark runs for ¾ inch at 12:30. Does not sound.
ConditionSide 2: Mint minus, cleaner than Side 1.
Leadin vinyl: 3 extremely small bubbles on lead in grooves that sound only slightly
Track1: 1 o’clock, 4 o’clock and 2:30 o’clock extremely slight scuffs that do notsound.
Track2: 2:30 o’clock, extremely slight scuffs that do not sound.
