Description
The Berliner Concert Grand records (1901-1903) were often brown or maroon, rarely seen in black, wich makes this one rarer.
This record was made by E. Berliner, Montreal, Canada. It features the famous baritone Emilio de Gogorza alias Carlo Francisco, alias Sig. E. Francisco.
The EARLY record number is 5009 (the Concert Grand serie starts at number 5000) and the title is:
LES RAMEAUX - Faure, (French) BARITONE SOLO sung by Sig. E. Francisco
The song is announced. There is an organ accompaniment and the song is in french
Even with the irregular and imperfect surface typical of the early Berliner discs (please see the pictures for condition),
this one plays loud and clear from begining to end. Good condition but don't expect hi fidelity.
