Description
I have for sale an original pressing of The Candy Johnson Show at Bikini Beach LP by Candy Johnson and Her Exciters. This is an extremely rare record. It was made in very small quantities on a label that had released only eight records, two of which were LP's and this is one of the two.
I have graded the record in VG condition and the cover in VG condition as well. I would have graded the record VG+ if it weren't for the three very light, minor scratches on side 2. (See picture 8). Side 1 is in VG+ condition. I have listened to both sides of the record myself on my Denon DP-31L turntable fitted with a Sumiko Black Pearl cartridge. I only heard very, very minor noise in between songs on side 1. The music came through loud and clear. Side 2 I only heard one very, very slight tick on tracks 2 through 5. The music still came through loud and clear. I really had to listen for the tick. In my experience, these did not affect the listening of the music at all. If the music was more to my personal taste I would be perfectly happy with this copy.
I graded the cover in VG condition because of the the scuff in the upper left hand corner. The spine has no splits and still has the font on it. There is no splits at the bottom of the cover or the top. And there is also no major ring wear. It has some minor dings around the edges, but is perfectly capable of holding the record without issues.
The record will be shipped in a LP mailing box with record outside of cover but in the inner sleeve to avoid damage to cover while in transit. Please message me if you would like that changed. Also please message me if you have any other questions or want to see more pictures.
