RARE The Beatles Lp on VJ (Vee Jay) Records, VJS-1085, from 1964. RARE STEREO portrait cover. "The Beatles & Frank Ifield On Stage." STEREO cover is Good with overall wear. Still presents well with overall solid edges. Has entire title printed on the spine. It is reported that only about 100 of the STEREO covers exist. Vinyl (mono), as it was found, is overall glossy Vg, close to Vg+. Trail-off numbers 64-3852 triangle 6295 URJ with the scratched out MR stamped logo. I have seen the "Old Man" stereo cover with a mono Lp, but this is the first STEREO copy of the "portrait" cover that I have ever seen so I do not know if any were accidently released with the mono Lp, but in the end VJ was unloading everything they had to cash in before they lost the band from the label. Was found at an estate sale with other older 60's albums, including other Beatles Lp's. If sound clip is included, it is taken from record without enhancement. "NO returns on sealed Lp's opened by buyer." All open Lp's cleaned on Pro-ject Cleaner & Vacuum machine. Covers & records placed in new inner sleeves & outer poly sleeves. M- Carefully used. Looks clean, plays clean. Shiny gloss, no marks.
EX Faint scuff or superficial mark, near M-. High gloss, plays clean.
VG++ Glossy with minimal scuffing or light marks. Plays very nice, clean.
VG+ A bit more scuffs or marks, still plays well with minimal surface noise at worse.
VG More marks. Scratches only minor, nothing deep. No loud clicks or pops. Does not mean "trashed".
VG- Surface noise present. Will not have skips or jumps.
