Description
This is a very hard to find copy of a four-song EP by Mr Gasser & the Weirdos: "Hot Rod Hootenanny" (Capitol EAP 4-2010). Released in France in 1964. Arranged and conducted by Gary Usher. Produced by Jim Economides. Features musicians known as "the Wrecking Crew" including Hal Blaine, Glen Campbell, Steve Douglas, etc. Also features the voice of the late, great Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. Roth also co-wrote all four songs.
This EP features four songs from the 1963 LP, "Hot Rod Hootenanny," including the title track. Songs include:
Side 1: "Hot Rod Hootenanny" & "My Coupe Eefen Talks"
Side 2: "Eefen It Don't Go Chrome It" & "The Fastest Shift Alive."
Note the two errors in the titles: "My Coupe Eefen' Talks" should not have the apostrophe, and "Eefen It Don't Goschrome It" has an "s" instead of a space.
Cardboard jacket with glossy picture is in VG to VG+ condition. No seam splits, but there is wear on the back and some writing. No stickers or tears. Vinyl is in VG+ condition. Labels are super clean, with no wear and no writing, stickers, or tears.
