Description
This is an immaculate and rare white label PROMO 45 (Promotional Copy Not For Sale) released in 1969 on the STAX label (STA-0067). One side features soul artists William Bell and Carlo Thomas singing: "All I Have to Do is Dream" written by Boudreaux Bryant and taken from the "Boy Meets Girl" album. The flip side features again William Bell but with famed artist Mavis Staples singing "Leave the Girl Alone" also from the album "Boy Meets Girl".
Condition of the 45 for both sides is a strong Near Mint (NM) without signs of past play and this 7" disc produces a smooth sounds throughout. No disappointments here as to vinyl and label condition. The original STAX sleeve does have some wrinkles and small tears on one side at the opening at the center of the sleeve this condition of sleeve is rated VG to VG+. A new heavy clear poly outer sleeve is included to protect this gem for generations to come.
