MILES DAVIS-BITCHES BREW LATE 70'S COLUMBIA RECORDS GATEFOLD REISSUE 2 LP'S GP 26(CS 9995) IN A SOLID VG+(cover)-STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL X 2!! Many a critic will tell you that this effort along with a Kind Of Blue are among Miles Davis' finest hours in this auction. I know I personally flip flop between the two as to which is the greater release. This 2 record set is experimental in many spots and also can be looked at as the beginnings of jazz fusion. The lineup of musician's he employed are the best in the business: Chick Corea, John McLaughlin & Lenny White to name just 3 of them. Tracks such as Pharaoh's Dance, the title cut and Miles Runs The Voodoo Down all appear on this absolute must own release. All fans of the man or the genre need this classic in their collection, it's an essential!!
The records are both in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light, very small hairline on side 4 that definitely does not hamper play at all, both records play well throughout. The gatefold cover has a 1" mouth tear on the back sleeve, some light ring wear / aging both front and back, minor wear along the edges and minor rubs on the corners. Both of the original inner sleeves are intact. A terrific buy!!
