We are pleased to announce a brand new auction for a very rare original autographed item of memorabilia. We often send our items away to various movie studios and music companies for signing. They may take several months to be returned to us, but they almost always reply - with the item kindly signed. This particular display is from our Wall Of Fame and has been personally signed by the rock legend himself: david bowie.
Hugely popular throughout five decades of rock and frequently reinventing both his music and image, David Bowie is regarded as a highly influential innovator in the world of music. His flamboyant, androgynous alter ego Ziggy Stardust, spearheaded by the hit single Starman and the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars epitomised a career often marked by musical innovation, reinvention and striking visual presentation. In the BBC's 2002 poll of the ‘100 Greatest Britons’, he was ranked at No.29. Throughout his career he has sold an estimated 196 million albums, and ranks among the ten best-selling acts in UK pop history. Rolling Stone magazine recently ranked him 39th on their list of the ‘100 Greatest Artists of All Time’.
This highly collectible piece is in immaculate condition (the Ebay scanned picture does not do it justice) and has been crafted onto smart A3-size Daler-Rowney mount-board. This is a large presentation and the overall measurements are 400mm x 300mm (16.00” x 12.00”).
