PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING
Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6's positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.
The LP was played through its entirety and there was just very light minimal surface noise heard through the very quieter moments and in-between tracks. There were no annoying skips, jumps of mis-tracking. While listening no track exhibited any sticking. There were no loud pops or any other annoying defects heard. There was no noise distortion, while listening the music flowed with crystal clear clarity. If marking out of 10 then this is easily a 9.7 out of 10 playback.
I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.
THE COVER: The gatefold cover shows virtually no wear to the top and bottom edges. The spine shows very light wear with creasing. All corners have just very light minimal wear with no major age related rounding. The opening edge shows very light age related fethering. The covers surface has just very light storage scuffing and creasing so I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT++ condition.
THE BACK COVER: The back cover reflects the front so I have graded the back cover again in EXCELLENT++ condition.
THE INNER SLEEVE: Both the inner sleeves have been graded in VERY GOOD+ condition having bottom edge splits there are no other signs of damage.
THE VINYL: All sides of this double LP still retains all of their original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are no deep scratches or major surface marks to any side of this double LP. There are only minor hairline marks. I have graded this LP conservatively in EXCELLENT++ condition. But is very close to NEAR MINT
Side 1 in EXCELLENT++ condition. Side 2 in EXCELLENT++ condition.
Side 3 in EXCELLENT++ condition. Side 4 in EXCELLENT++ condition.
