This good copy of the very rare UK first pressing of the classic first Motorhead Album, Chiswick WIK 2, A-1, B-1 matrix suffixes, with the outer sleeve printed black onto chrome board
The first printing of this sleeve, and less than a 1000 printed- a rare album I bought in 1977 and treasured carefully. The NME review cut out is also included from 1977.
Plus I’ve included the 2010 limited edition collectors pack Magasine with poster.
The front sleeve has a little ring-wear. The spine is not pinched and the entry edge has some wear. One side has become unstuck but not damaged. The chrome card is visible.
The rear of the sleeve does show more ring-wear and Side 1 - Track 2 is misspelt as "Viborator".
Custom Inner is in great condition.
The vinyl is v good condition. The surface is very clean, glossy and shiny, no noticeable marks, a superb copy.
Matrix etchings side A "WIK-2-A-1" and side B “WIK-2-B-1”. Additionally I added my name (pin engraved) on the A side run out to make sure I never lost it! This has no effect on playing and can hardly be seen.
