Here's a nice rarity for you Beatles fans! This is Introducing The Beatles on the Vee Jay (VJLP-1062) label. Now, there are plenty of these on eBay but very seldomly, you'll see a copy with the rare "Featuring Twist And Shout - Please, Please Me" sticker on the front cover. When you do, the sticker usually shows significant bleed through of the adhesive and doesn't look so hot. This cover has a beautiful sticker that doesn't show any bleed through and just light shelfwear! Very rare. Outer jacket itself has light to moderate wear but no major problems and is quite presentable as the pictures show. No seam splits either. Disc comes in original Vee Jay inner sleeve that has large seam splits, some yellowing and has almost come completely apart. Still, it's there. Disc itself looks worse than it is. Rainbow, bracketed VJ label with "Long Playing" and "Microgroove". Lots of spindle marks that my camera makes look worse than they are. Does retain some gloss and has a lot of surface marks / rubs / long rubs. Looks pretty much like a G visually. However, when I played it, it was better than anticipated. No skips, played all the way through both sides nicely with good fidelity. Has some background crackle but it did not overpower the music at all and was really only a nuisance in the quieter parts of Boys, Do You Want To Know A Secret? and A Taste of Honey. Played more like a VG / VG- than a G. So, you can play it through and still enjoy its raw sound! Anyway, you're really after the sticker in this auction. A really nice example of it and not easy to find. Good luck to all bidders and enjoy!
