About the Artist & Label:

The Quests were a Michigan garage rock band who cut several 45s in the mid-1960s. Their records are highly sought after by collectors of teen garage and fuzz-driven regional sounds. Fenton Records was an independent label known for pressing small runs for Michigan garage bands — original copies rarely surface outside the Midwest.


Provenance:

This copy comes directly from the private collection of a Detroit disc jockey who played these records new on the airwaves. Collectors will spot telltale DJ techniques: strips of label tape, handwritten year markings, and faint etching in the runout. These markings are not flaws — they are part of the record’s authentic working history, proof that this very disc helped deliver the garage sound to teenagers when it was brand new.
