You are viewing my auction of a rare original copy of Belle and Sebastian's Tigermilk, their debut album. This is a sought-after original copy on Electric Honey Records on vinyl from 1996, not a Jeepster reprint from 1999.

It's with regret that I'm selling this record. Although this copy has not been played since 1999, having long been replaced by a CD reissue, I still have a lot of love for this album. I have loved listening to it since the day I recieved it from a band member in 1996. At the time, it was a breath of fresh air to me - no other band in Glasgow was putting out music as thoughtful and beautiful as this. Even now, having just listened to this copy before listing it here, I remember the wee shiver I got when I heard 'State' for the first time. 

I very much regret using unclaimed copies of the album as frisbees at the launch party - and not just because I could have made a fortune if I'd just taken them home - in my defense, I was very drunk.

• The vinyl is in near mint condition - there is only one blemish, a non-audible surface mark on 'State'. This copy has been loved, and the vinyl has been well respected. You will really enjoy listening to this copy.
• The sleeve has some slight scuffs, hopefully from the photos you'll be able to see that these are superficial and minimal. For 14 years unprotected in a record box, its in remarkable condition.
• In 1996, I asked the band member who gave me this copy to sign it 'just in case you make it big'. That's why the label has 'Don't take the piss, Paddy' written on it.

Postage and packaging is up to you. Its a valuable record, so I'll make sure to use quality packaging and it will be sent with adequate insurance by a reputable courier. Therefore the shipping costs will vary - particularly for international ebayers. Email me and I will get back to you with an estimate.
