E142. RARE, RARE, RARE!! A hard to find LP MGM 4090 stereo. Yojimbo soundtrack, Akira Kurosawa's Master piece with the unforgettable Toshiro Mifune. The MGM LP soundtrack of "Yojimbo" is quite unique: a (stereo!) record released (in the U.S.A.!) around the time of this (Japanese!) film's distribution. No other pre-color Kurosawa film, to my knowledge, has had its film soundtrack released in America prior to 1970 (either as domestic or imported LP) other than this "Yojimbo". And, yes, it is a great & unique score which can stand quite well on its own as an independent listening experience. I'm not going to rate the condition of the LP, all I can tell is it sounds pretty great, there are no scratches on the vinyl. The record sleeve has the wear you can see in pictures and a corner with some old humidity stain, all pictured in detail. I'll ship Worldwide . FREE SHIPPING. Good luck!!
