Description
Here is the keystone of an 8,000-piece collection I purchased in October from a one-time (1975-1985) record shop owner. I know this because it is the one 7” record Jack made a point of showing me in the process of selling me his entire store inventory.
One of the more difficult picture sleeves to find, this is London #45-905 ©1967, The Rolling Stones “Dandelion” b/w “We Love You”. I’m including the record in this lot even though it’s in no better than average (VG) condition. The original owner used a ballpoint pen to mark the ‘A’ side label with “JC”, “Vern” and “25”. The flip side label is clean. Here are the faults with the sleeve itself. There is a matching “25” written, about 3/8” high, on just one of the sides, right above Keith’s name. There are three tears in the top opening edge of the sleeve – one about 1/4” long and the others just half that. Minor bends are found along that same edge. Record imprint is moderate at best and ring wear inconsequential. The seams are totally sound and no stickers or tape are present. Beautiful glossy finish jumps out at you.
