Description
Here's an extremely rare, unreleased original demo by Randy Newman of his song "The Debutante's Ball." Newman never released is own version of the song, though it was recorded by Harper's Bizarre, of which he was briefly a member when they were called the Tikis. The demo just features Randy at the piano. Like many of his tunes, the song alludes to issues of social class without being explicitly political. The disc was cut for A. Schroeder Music, probably around 1966. It's in VG+ condition with some light surface wear and some crackle on playback.
