Description

Here's an unreleased original 1960's demo by Randy Newman of his song, "Simon Smith and the Amazing Dancing Bear." It was cut for A. Schroeder Music, probably in 1965 or '66 and features a different performance of the track than the versions on either the Sail Away LP or The Randy Newman Songbook collection. As with those versions, the arrangement is just Randy at the piano, but with a distinctly different outro that features roaring, canned applause. The disc is in VG+ condition. Playback is excellent with some light crackle.
