1974 stereo record by R. Spyk & Friends (Rob van Spyk, Terry Friend and Brian Balstar.)
This band were predecessors of Stonefield Tramp.
It is a private pressing, on Acorn Records Limited. Catalogue number CF 241.
Condition - the record itself looks to be in very good condition, with no obvious scratches. However, I have not tested for play quality. There are some superficial scrape marks around the spindle hole, but the label is not torn or badly worn.
The inner “bag” sleeve is a bit yellowed with some signs of glue coming through between the paper layer and the inner plastic part. There are some folds/creases in the corners.
The outer sleeve is yellowed where it would originally (presumably) have been white. There is one “smear” mark on the front and some signs of the top layer starting to blister, mainly down the spine edge and in the corners. There is a tiny yellowish mark on the half moon shape on the cover.
The glue on the bottom of the sleeve has come unstuck and has not been re-glued.
I have seen two other copies of this record for sale online. One for over £300 and one for 500 euros. I have kept the price on this listing considerably lower, to take account of the condition.
