This NEAR MINT UK DEMO dates from shortly before its release in May 1965 and is on the red & silver Brunswick label: 05935

The guitar feedback, although not the first to be heard on a record, is thought to be the first solo with feedback & the first Who release with Nicky Hopkins playing piano.

Matrix numbers: 45-116049-2C & 45-116040-2C

No mother/stamper codes are present in either run-out.

Housed within its original generic red & white Brunswick company sleeve.

A bright & unworn pair with just small handful of light spindle trails around the 'A' side centre hole but none visible on the 'B' side.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are totally unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight with just a small handful of barely visible, harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine upon close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this outstanding disc lie 100% flat on the turntable and would not require upgrading.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

Played once or twice on broadcast-quality equipment, the sound is clean & unworn throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear, crackle or any other audible distractions or faults.
