From my private collection, an exceptionally rare 1st pressing of Queens 1973 debut 7" single, Keep Yourself Alive. Visual Condition is Excellent (see guide below) for vinyl and generic EMI sleeve. All records are play tested for sound quality on my quality separates system (Nad amp, Dual deck, Wharfedale speakers) this one plays like a dream, both sides!
I had a game to track this one down in the mid 70's when I started collecting, so I'm guessing it's super-rare nowadays. Haven't played vinyl stuff in a while, so, time to sell, (I rarely played my Queen singles anyway as I had all the albums. Please see my other items. Record condition is based on the guide in Record Collector Magazine as shown below;
Mint: The record is in brand new condition with no marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and items such as booklets or posters are in perfect condition. Any advertised as “Sealed” will be in Mint condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.
Very Good: The record has clearly been played often but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. There may be noticeable surface marks or odd light scratch. The sleeve will show normal wear and tear but no major defects.
Good: The record has been played so much that sound quality has deteriorated. There may be some distortion and mild scratches. The sleeve may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine splits and discolouration.
Fair: The record is just playable but displays considerable surface noise and may jump. The sleeve may be torn, stained or defaced.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches or bad surface noise. The sleeve will be badly damaged with bits missing.
