I bought this as part of a collection from an old friend of mine. He purchased the albums from new and has always carefully stored and cared for his records. He bought the discs to play them, so there is evidence that they have been played but they are still well preserved examples of rare and colletable LP's.

On the collectable Regal Zonophone record label this rare 1st (as far as I know) STEREO press delivers strong and powerful analogue sound with only minor evidence of its vintage. The disc has no obvious visible flaws or defects (no scratched or scuffs). Although this loudly cut disc has evidence of background noise on the run in grooves and dead wax it is only mildly noticable during playback and is not intrusive. It is housed in a front laminated sleeve that is in excellent condition (see photos and details).

Thev very well preserved front laminated sleeve has no splits, tears or other major flaws.

Excellent to near mint (some very minor micro stress creases near the spine that are barely noticable)

A patch of laminate lifting to one corner and some slight loss of sheen towards the bottom

I'm not convinced that the plain white inner sleeve that this came with this is original so I will include an additional high quality replacement

Comments: A well preserved sleeve in excellent condition for a 1969 vintage. 

Record:

The disc is not warped in any way. The disc still retains its original sheen and looks well cared for. There are no noticable scuffs, scratched or marks. The sound offers a great detailed analogue experience with some background noise that is audible on the run in grooves and very quiet sections, it is not (to my ears) in any way intrusive. It is not mint and totally flawless but still an enjoyable listening experience free of distracting clicks or pops.

Visually: the vinyl maintains its original sheen and looks in very well preserved condition.

How I pack:

I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
