Description
Procol Harum---"A Salty Dog"---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo Album In Average EX Playing Condition With VG+ Sleeve On The Red Regal Zonophone Label--- -1 and -1 From 1969
This is a UK copy from 1969 in stereo on the red Regal Zonophone label, cat. no. SLRZ. 1009 with matrices -1 and -1.
Vinyl: Average VG+. The vinyl is in nice looking condition with a great shine and but has quite a few small and light marks and scratches. The worst one is on side 1 which goes across tracks 2, 3 and 4 but is feelable on track 3 where it plays right through with a "dragging" sounding tick. The rest seems to play really well, especially in the louder tracks where is is very clear. It has had a lot of play in nearly 50 years but has a great sound for the most part.
Labels: EX. Labels are in great condition with no marks and the red with silver still has a lovely shine. There is pretty heavy use spindle wear.
Sleeve: VG+. The laminated sleeve is in solid condition with quite a lot of heavy corner wear but only has a little cracking of the laminate in 2 places and only a couple of light thumb creases to the front shine. The laminated back shows the corner wear more, but also still has a nice shine and just a little laminate lift on the spine edge.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
