Description
Prestige Bluesville 1023, “K.C.’s Blues” with K.C. Douglas, guitar and vocals, from 1961. Trident-label vinyl plays at VG++ with very, very light static that is barely noticeable from a distance. The original heavy laminated jacket is about like new with solid seams, square corners, no ringwear or seam cracking, and no writing or stamps. Songs are “Broken Heart”, “Hen House Blues”, “Wake Up Workin’ Woman”, “Rootin’ Ground Hog”, “Meanest Woman”, “Born in the Country”, “Love Me All Night Long”, “Tell Me”, “No More Cryin’”, “K.C.’s Doctor’s Blues”, “You Got a Good Thing Now”, and “Watchdog Blues”. This is the remainder of a set of Bluesville LPs from several collections brought together for sale this fall on eBay. Many are in the original shrink wrap. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $18.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $11.75 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
