Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon-MFSL 1-017 Orig. Master Recording 1979 Gatefold recorded in Stereophonic. This album is a collector’s piece recorded at the Mobile Facility Sound Lab and is a Limited Edition Reissue. Vinyl condition is NM. Cover condition is Excellent with some minimal shelf wear on edges/corner. Sleeve condition is Excellent and is a special “static free inner sleeve.” There is also a cardboard insert folder protecting the record on the outside of the inner sleeve explaining the MFSL Production titled, “An Audiophile’s Dream Come True”. This is an original master recording as printed on the label, with half speed mastering, considered a super high definition vinyl. Source - the original stereo master tape.
This album comes from a vintage 272+ album collection with bands from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. They belonged to my husband a long time Cleveland rock n roll rocker. There is a mix of rock, folk, pop, blues and alternative. Although each album is currently untested each is in Near Mint condition. They were likely played twice, once to listen to after purchasing, and once to record for posterity. They were played on a high quality Pioneer turntable system, purchased for the sole purpose of recording onto cassettes for listening enjoyment, and then stored. All albums were stored properly upright and in a climate controlled environment. Vinyl grading was done by visual inspection. All album covers are in Excellent condition with minimal shelf wear on corners/edges, and have original sleeves and inserts. Shipping will be Media Mail in LP record mailer boxes with bubble wrap and cardboard record pad insert for extra protection. Will ship only in US.
