Description
(a) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS EXCELLENT (EXC). Under bright light there are a few very minor superficial marks (mainly sleeve marks) are VISIBLE, but they appear insignificant relative to the overall condition of the vinyl, and are not visually distracting. The vinyl looks impeccable. The original luster is completely intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles.
(b) The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!
(c) Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
(d) We grade the cover as VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++). There is hardly any shelf ware. Some staining/discoloration on back. There's a piece of scotch tape along the bottom, vi sable mainly on the back and appears to be an attempt to repair the paste-over slick although the there is no visa or damage. The spine is in excellent shape, see pics. This is a thick cardboard cover, American style.
(e) This is the original mono pressing.
(f) Original black with silver text ATLANTIC RECORDS mono deep groove label.
(g) machine stamped matrix number with machine stamped "AT" and "B" in dead wax area.
