Pink Floyd WISH YOU WERE HERE - NIMBUS RECORDS SUPERCUT EDITION - One of the holy grails of Pink Floyd collecting, the Nimbus Supercut edition of Wish You Were Here is one of the rarest albums in the Pink Floyd catalog. I purchased this copy here on Ebay in 2015 and it certainly lives up to its reputation: the acoustic guitars shimmer and the synths sound HUGE! Now's your chance to get this LONG out of print collectible at a fair market price!

IMPORTANT: Picture 10 shows "NIMBUS ENGLAND" stamped into the run-out area of side 1, your guarantee that this LP is the Nimbus Supercut. I play-graded this record (listened to the entire album) and most of the LP is a solid EX or better. However, there are plenty of sections with surface noise or ticks, and when those occur the vinyl is around VG or better (fortunately, much of the noise is in the far right channel; while annoying, it's far less distracting than it might otherwise be). Please see below for my detailed listening notes. 
The cover is also in overall EX condition. The corners show a bit of wear or rubbing, but overall the corners are pretty sharp. Pictures 11 through 18 show closeups of each corner of the LP from: Front Top Left to Top Right to Bottom Left to Bottom Right, and then in the same order for the rear. 
The front of the cover has two creases. One is located around the lower left corner and measures about 2" (please see Picture 13). The other crease is located on the far right, just above the "Supercut" label, and measures approximately 2" (please see Picture 19; the crease is only visible in certain lights at certain angles). 
PLAY-GRADED LISTENING NOTES: SIDE 1: The fade-in reveals regular surface noise (VG+), with soft repeating ticks from around the 50 second mark to approximately 1 minute 30. However, after that the noise settles down quite a bit, with most of the record grading at EX or NM (with occasional, incidental noise). There is a repetitive noise in the right channel starting around 6:30 and recurring until about 7:50. The rest of the 13 1/2 minutes (Parts I-V of "Crazy Diamond") is a strong EX or better, with nothing particularly noticeable or distracting. 
Track 2 (Welcome To The Machine) As the sax solo fades a recurring right channel noise reduces the Vinyl to VG overall. However, by the time the acoustic guitar kicks in the vinyl is back to EX or better and remains so until around the 20 minute mark (end of track, with machine noises), with some recurring right channel noise.
SIDE 2: Side 2 is overall MUCH better than Side 1, rating a solid EX+...very quiet with only incidental noise. "Have A Cigar" rates a solid EX+ or better. 
Track 2 ("Wish You Were Here") is also EX, with a little more surface noise at the beginning. However, the acoustic guitar in the center channel (when Gilmour is playing along with the "radio") has IN THE ROOM transparency, and the whole track rates a solid EX+ to NM until the very end when some surface noise recurs.
Track 3 The last 12 1/2 minutes is overall EX+, and this track has some of the best sonics on the whole album: HUGE soundstage, tight bass, great front to back layering. Some surface noise occurs during the final fadeout (a repetitive noise in the right channel), reducing the last 45 seconds to a VG+ grade.
SUMMARY: Overall EX Condition, with many sections better than EX (particularly on Side 2, which is much quieter than Side 1) but with plenty of spots rating VG or better. 

ABOUT USED RECORDS I SELL ON EBAY: I will be selling many high value used records over the coming months (or years!). I've been lucky enough to be able to use very high-end cartridges on both my mono and stereo turntables. The cartridges are cleaned before each side is played, and I'm currently using the DS-Audio ST-50 cartridge cleaner. 
I clean ALL records, every time, before the platter hits the turntable. I've been doing so for the past 20 years or more, and I am currently fortunate enough to own THE best record cleaning machine in the world: KLAudio's KD-CLN LP200T (Acoustic Sounds uses these machines to clean THEIR used records). Picture 8 shows the LP being cleaned prior to Play-Grading. Every used record I sell on Ebay is cleaned before I grade the album, and then cleaned AFTER grading so that the buyer receives the LP in the best possible condition. 
In order to sell used records efficiently, I have two methods of grading used LPs:
Play-Graded - For my rarest records, I will listen to the entire LP and make track by track notes of any possible issues.
Sample-Graded - Other used records will be sampled at the beginning and end of each track, but I cannot guarantee the LP won't exhibit some random noise or pressing flaw that goes undetected. However, I find this approach is reasonably accurate, and considerably more so than visual grading, which I find can be quite deceptive (at least, I've never had any luck at it when buying used LPs). Having said that, the last photo shows one album side (which hopefully conveys that the LP is accurately described).

ABOUT SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Please note there is a $3 fee included in Ebay's estimate of Media Mail shipping costs. I believe the best way to way to ship an LP includes a 13"x14"x3" "pizza" style box, 12"x12" cardboard flats, outer shopping bag, and bubble wrap. The shipping boxes alone cost me over $3 each, and the average total cost of shipping materials is around $4.72, so this is NOT a money-maker for me. However, it does ensure, consistently, that these high value LPs arrive safely. Please check my feedback and I think you'll see that buyers appreciate the care with which these precious artifacts are handled. 

COMBINED SHIPPING: I am more than happy to combine shipping. Ebay buyers pay the actual postage costs. If a single LP is purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $3 for shipping materials. If two LPs are purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $3 for shipping materials. If three or more LPs are purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $0 for shipping materials (I will absorb the cost of materials). As the final amount can only be calculated after auctions have ended, I will issue the appropriate refund on the day the LPs are shipped.
