Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon (Mispress?) [Vinyl] 1973
1973 Capitol SMAS-11163 1983 Reissue  Cover - VG+ light wear  Vinyl - Near Mint.  Very nice condition. No inserts or posters included.
This is an oddball pressing that appears to be a mispress.  When I put it on to test it, I noticed right away that it sounded different than I was used to hearing.  I also noticed a couple of different guitar licks I had never heard  before.  I did some research and according to pinkfloydarchives.com Side 1  is the quad mix, and Side 2 is the regular Stereo mix.  I don't have a quad system to test it on, but for sure Side 1 is different than the Stereo mix.  It plays fine and sounds great, but expect to hear a difference on a regular Stereo system. Side 2 sounds exactly as it should.  Here is the description on the website.  The deadwax markings are identical to this.   3) SMAS-1-11163 G-85 SP-AR 1-2 B-23055 11751 O- / SMAS-2-11163 G-67 I-3 0-1 SM 1-1 Gene 11751-X O- B-22755 SPAR (both written) [SRC / 0 MBC] (side 1 is the quad mix, side 2 is the stereo mix)  
Definitely an interesting pressing of this album.  I can't imagine that this was intentional, but I don't know for sure.  Discogs makes no mention of  it in their listing of this version.
