Description

12" Quadraphonic LP from 1973 by Pink Floyd (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) titled Atom Heart Mother. Made in the UK on the Harvest label Cat. # Q4 SHVL 781 Matrix runout

  • Matrix / Runout (A-side runout stamped): QHVL 781 A-2 GR (stamped sideways) 1
  • Matrix / Runout (B-side runout stamped): QHVL 781 B-3 GR (stamped sideways) 1
  • Transitional quadraphonic issue with the SQ quadraphonic logo on the front cover.
    Made in Gt Britain is not printed in the same area on label: outside around the rim on transition copy as opposed to inside the rim on other UK copy.
(Gramophone Pressing)  Vinyl - NM- Cover - VG++ Inlay - generic EMI quadraphonic advertising paper sleeve Test played - NM- Bought new in the 80's, stored vertically in  VRP inner and poly outer sleeves since purchase

My Grading definitions for vinyl (test play):  (NM-) - Visually appears blemish free (sounds clean) (VG++) - A few light paper scuffs/marks (1 or 2 tracks with a couple light tics, surface noise) (VG+) - Light paper scuffs/marks on multiple sides (occasional tics, pop or light surface noise) (VG) - Noticeable wear/scuffs, loss of shine, possible small scratch, possible warping (noticeable surface noise, tics, pops) My Grading definitions for covers and inlays: (NM-) - Nearly new appearance, very little if any wear (VG++) - Only slightly more wear than NM- , possible small crease(s), still very nice (VG+) - Shows signs of light wear (ring, edge, corner, small creases) (VG/VG+) - Same as VG+ with seam split or a cut-out type defect (hole punch, corner clip, notch, writing)  (VG) - Moderate to heavy wear with or without cut-out type defect
