Odis organized the “Messengers” in 1957 at Mount Airy, North Carolina and served as director and first tenor singer for the group until his death in July, 1976. Since its beginning, the group has functioned consistently, singing gospel music to as many people as our schedule will per- mit. The strong dedication of each member and the support of each family enables the group to effectively reach people for Christ. Our prayer is that we can continue serving God in this, our way of being His messengers. May you receive as great a blessing when you listen, as we receive when we sing.
