Phish SEALED MINT Two Soundchecks Hand #'d 428 (of 2000) Record Store Day RSD

This listing is for a SEALED copy of Phish's 2011 Record Store Day release titled "Two Soundchecks".  This is Phish's one and only 7" vinyl single they have ever made.  Yep, just one.  Pretty amazing that they haven't made more selections on 7" vinyl.  This is a perfect gift for any Phish phan for Christmas, Hanukkah, a Birthday, Anniversary, a Graduation, or a General Gift to show your love and to make someone feel great and special.  
This was one of the harder pieces of vinyl to pick up during  Record Store Day 2011.  I have been to Record Store Day for the past 3 years and RSD 2011 was by far the busiest and most popular ever.  The lines outside the record stores (Twist & Shout and Independent for me here in Denver) were several times longer than previous years due to the fact that more and more bands are taking part in Record Store Day releasing special RSD selections.  Phish's "Two Soundchecks" was a must have for me and my favorite local record store quickly sold out well before I even got inside the store.  To say I was bummed is a complete understatement.  I purchased my personal copy off of Ebay the day after RSD 2011.  I have been enJOYing and listening to that copy non-stop and I love it.  The copy for sale here is SEALED and is in perfectly MINT condition.
Every Phish fan who has a record player must have this 7" single.  Most  (I'd say 99.9%), of all 7" vinyl is pressed at 45rpm.  Phish's "Two Soundchecks" is pressed at 33rpm and sounds simply amazing.  Phish most likely made this at 33rpm to allow as much play time on each side as possible.  Here are the details for what is on each side of this epic Phish vinyl single:
Phish Two Soundchecks: Side A: Soundcheck (6:41) from 8/07/2010 from The Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA. (This is what the cover art picture is taken from and a truly EPIC event for Phish to be playing such a great small venue.) Side B: Soundcheck (6:41) from 8/14/2009 from the Comcast Center in Hartford, CT.  This Hartford show was absolutely EPIC and was the talk of the tour for a long time.  Man I wish they would release this on DVD or even better Blu-Ray.
In Hartford 2009, from the first note, to Colonel Forbin's->Fly Famous Mockingbird, to the most incredible Kung and 2nd set where Trey did his imitation of how he perceives the bands fans dancing.  It was very entertaining.  I wish I had a video of it.  It was amazing.  Psycho Killer was played over the PA system before the first set and the crowd was so enthused that they sung along loudly.  It was incredible for the band to revisit this phan classic cover of the Talking Heads.  I was in the 20th row dead center and had the time of my life that night.  
Hartford 2009 was also a very special show for the Green Crew.  I know it was a milestone event for a long time Green Crew member and if my memory serves me correctly, it was a special Green Crew member's 250th show (as a Green Crew member I believe).  Phish really cares about the footprint they leave and the Green Crew are the people who take the tie to clean up the lot after the shows.  They are amazing people.  If/when you see a Green Crew member, thank them and if you have the time or energy, please take the time to offer to help.  I've done it about 8-10 times and have met some of the coolest people in my life.  Phish really made that night special for everyone, but especially for the Green Crew.  Great work family!!!
When Phish announced that they held some of the 7" "Two Soundchecks" for sale at Super Ball 9, I was ecstatic.  I always try to buy 2 copies of any collectible vinyl I like, and SB9 was my opportunity to have an extra in my archive.  Unfortunately, I have to select some of my rare vinyl to sell in order to buy Christmas presents for my family.  The funds from this sale will bring joy to my niece and nephews for sure.  I like to have one to listen to, and one for my archives, but my family and the holidays are much more important to me though and while it pains me to sel this, it will make me happy to make my sister's children happy at Christmas.  At Super Ball 9, I was able to score # 428/2000 (I asked and tried everything I could do to get # 420/2000 but was told that Phish kept that particular number in the edition for their archives, as they do for pretty much all limited edition #'d products).  Number 428/2000 is very very close though and a very very cool # to own.  
I have had this sealed copy stored safely in an acid-free Mylar sleeve stowed in my 7" record archive box stored properly in a climate controlled room.  This is a real treat for any Phish fan.  A lot of people selling Phish vinyl have no idea how to look thoroughly with an artists eye for any imperfections in the cover, packaging, and sealing.  Rest assured you will get the MINTest copy of this sealed 7" on Ebay, or the internet at that.      From a self-proclaimed hard-core Phish fan who just saw his 200th Phish show at the 3rd night of Dicks in Colorado this past September 2011, this is a must have for any Phish fan.   Phish held back several hundred and sold them at their Superball 9 Festival.  This copy if from SB9.  It is hand numbered 428 (out of 2000) and is in absolute MINT condition and is SEALED and in perfectly MINT condition.  I am both a print collector (art, concert, and movie) and a vinyl record collector and I am extremely snobby when it comes to quality.  I look at everything with an artists eye and can find the smallest imperfection in any product I buy.  I take very good care and store my collection properly, so rest assured that this 7" single is completely 100% MINT.  Just as anal I am about what I buy, I am also equally as anal about how I package anything I sell or trade.  

Myself and a couple of phriends had a great time looking for friends on the cover (its a picture from the Greek Theater 2010).  Its a ton of fun finding people and I highly recommend everyone trying it. 
This single will be shipped in a 12" LP mailer with 2 corrugated inserts for protection.  Shipping is via USPS and includes insurance and delivery confirmation.
