Philips Oistrakh Violin complete Beethoven sonatas 4lp

Philips Holland Oistrakh/Oborn plays complete Violin/Piano Sonatas 4LP's and Box NM-   6768 036

6768 036,  4 LP box set, Grey label Philips Holland pressed edition  of Oistrakh/ Oberin 1964 recordings. Suspected never to have been played, no sign of spindle wear, and foam insert had turned to powder and was stuck to bottom dust jacket, wiped off like dust when removed from box, so during time it took for foam padding sheet to turn to powder, these records never taken out of box!!!!!

Having said how well I have tried to preserve it for you, the discs are in overall Near Mint - condition There are NO visible scuffs in sunlight, normal lighting shows no marks. Partial test play (opening track all 8 sides) revealed very occasional intermittent quiet background pips. nothing related to damage, only normal vinyl replay, but they would be more described as odd pops and clicks without repetitive patterns associated with scratch style damage.

There is NO rotational spindle wear .

Overall visually and audibly I now rate this box set of 4 LP's as Near Mint minus

Cover(BOX) condition (See Photo's) Near Mint Minus. The dark  black finish is virtually unmarked, just a few small almost unnoticeable scuffs or marks.

Very straight, This box is in remarkably good condition for being over ? years old, I don't think these are 1964 issues, but I have no access to Philips lists on when the 6768 box series were issued.  Box lid and bottom have no bends or compacted corners, no corner splits however, I would think it could be rated as NM- .

INCLUDES 12 PAGE box size  BOOKLET in unmarked NM condition,GIVING DETAILS OF these Beethoven  compositions and Oistrakh/Oborin performance of them, Notes in English and Dutch .
