Original 1st US pressing factory sealed copy of Paul McCartney's debut solo album. I wouldn't want to exaggerate but to come across a copy of this album in such condition is practically impossible. This is a very early pressing with the catalog number STAO-3363 and NOT the repressing with the letters abbreviation changed to SMAS. Very rare Capitol Records West Coast Los Angeles plant pressing with the gatefold cover having the Apple Records logo in the lower left-hand corner and "Manufactured by APPLE RECORDS INC. 1750 NORTH VINE STREET, HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA 90028 PRINTED IN U.S.A." credits in the lower right-hand corner on the back. Even though this copy is factory sealed, it's most likely the labels inside indicate "Oo-You" instead of "Oo You" as seen on the back cover. I'd like to hope that in the groove runout area of this copy you'll find the initials of Lee Hulko and Robert Ludwig as very often the Los Angeles copies has the mastering by Sterling Sound. It can be said with confidence that it will be the final upgrade of this album in your collection. The factory shrink wrap contains original breathe holes on the front cover and doesn't have any splits, tears, missing pieces or any stickers residue, only having some moderate age shelf wear. All of the corners are sharp and don't have any bumping. The album has a perfect rigid sturdy spine and is in outstanding Mint condition.
