Original soundtrack for the movie "MILANO VIOLENTA", this stunning Library proves to be a groovy delight from the beginning to the end. Composed by pianist Enrico Pieranunzi and guitarist Silvano Chimenti under the guise "Pulsar Music Ltd.", the general mood is dramatic and ominous with very nice samples of Funky Breaks, Jazz-Funk and Smoky Jazzy tunes.
The feel of the album is similar to that of some of the best tracks on the Stroboscopia comps – with lots of tight drums, rumbling basslines, and cool electric moments. The whole thing is very groovy all the way through – with no dead moments, and a good mix of cool themes that keeps changing all the time. "SUBWAY" and "SIX IN" on side A are fast nervous and groovin' Jazz-Funk, together with "RUNNING" on side B cool Funk tunes remembering the best shots from Stefano Torossi's "FEELINGS". "HIGH TENSION", "FIXED IDEA" and "OBSESSION" are great dramatic/tension Crime sounds, with "CAT THEME" that is the main theme of MILANO VIOLENTA.
