Description

 You are bidding on an extremely rare Sex Pistols 45 that features a superb picture sleeve, unique to the Portuguese release. Also unique is the fact that this record couples "Silly thing" with "Anarchie pour l'uk" (And not "Anarchy in the uk" as stated in the labels. Anarchie pour l'uk is the French version performed by Jerzimy, originally on "The great Swindle".This is the only 45 in which these two tracks are coupled. This is the rarest Sex Pistols record from Portugal.


  • Portugal Green/Red Virgin label from 1979 cat number VV-45009ES

  • Side A"Silly thing" - Side B "Anarchie pour l'uk"

  • Vinyl visually VG- displaying under direct light several lines, scuffs, surface marks but no deep scratches.

  • Playgrading: Plays a solid VG+ on side A, very nice throughout with no interferences at all. Side B plays a VG-. This is the quiet track and bg noises are more evidente here. Side B plays with continuous background noise, a few pops too. Has been professionally cleaned with an Okki Nokki Machine though it could be improved with subsequent cleaning.

  • Labels EX, super clean

  • Fragile sleeve is in solid VG+ condition. One discreet name on top left corner, some creases, some surface stains, center ringwear mark on white surface of back,light ringwear in front as well. Not bad!

Hard to find this wonderful little record in better shape.
