Description
For sale is an original 1979 sealed 3 record set of PUBLIC IMAGE LTD. METAL BOX out of my personal collection. I bought this record at Peaches Record store in Atlanta, Georgia in the import bin about a year after it came out . Since I already had another copy of this I did not open it .I felt this record might become collectable so I put it up and kept it in the Peaches bag they put it in, so it has not been exposed to light.
This copy is still mostly shinny with just a small very amount of tanish, mostly at the bottom where the plastic has split a little and where the record packer had touched the record before it was sealed. The back has no tarnish (that is my shadow in the picture). There are no dents in the can.
The original typed discription of the contents is still taped on the cover just like it was when it was purchased. The original price sticker is still on it.
I feel sure there are not many copies left in this condition. As the sticker says this was a limited edition of only 50,000. Record number is METAL 1and is on Virgin Records 1979.
