Hi, up for auction here is a superb double (2) L.P. in black vinyl. This is the Psychedelic Psauna (In Four Parts). A 'various artists' compilation put together by Freakbeat magazine in 1991 on the Delerium Records label. Catalog # DELP 005D. The album features Porcupine Tree’s Linton Samuel Dawson. Apparently, this was the FIRST time that a Porcupine Tree song was released in any form. The album comes complete with a cool and colourful psychedelic themed folded insert that contains background information about each group/artist. Measures 8½” x 8½” (21.5cm x 21.5cm) folded and 8 ½” x 17” (21.5cm x 43cm) opened out.

The Porcupine Tree piece lists the names of the fictitious band members with SW listed as " The Porcupine Tree". This list is a different version than the one that Steve sings on the fake " Live" YHD. The insert also contains a short story about the song, including a mysterious reference to John Travolta. Ozric Tentacles and Beavis Frond also appear on this album.

As for the condition, I’m a collector myself and pretty critical when rating items. That said, the vinyl is in near MINT condition on both records! I’ve never played it and visually, it looks to be unplayed! * Some humourous messages on each of the run out grooves! J Even has some slight vinyl remnants in the spindle holes! Some light static dust evident and that’s about all. I’d rate both records at a firm 9 out of 10.

The single sleeve is also in superb shape, the only insignificant things to note is some very slight 'burring' to the length of the opening edge and some on the top 'seam'. Absolutely, no splits, ringwear, stains or ink loss anywhere else on the cover. Spine is also undamaged. Overall rating is 8 out of 10.

The insert is near mint, no creases, stains, etc. A firm 9 out of 10.

There you go – a superb and hard to find album for the Porcupine Tree/Linton Samuel Dawson/Psychedelia aficionado/collector. In above average condition I’d say for being nigh on 20 years old now.
