PROUDLY OFFERING FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION TODAY, IS A ROCKIN' ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING FROM THE RONETTES TITLED "....PRESENTING THE FABULOUS RONETTES" FEATURING VERONICA LP!
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU CAN TAKE THE TIME TO READ & UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION! THANK YOU!!!
CHECK OUT THE SONG LIST BELOW TO SEE THE AWESOME SELECTIONS!! THIS BABY WILL GET YOUR FEET TAPPING AND YOUR HEAD BOPPIN' FOR SURE!! THE RONETTES WERE AN AMERICAN GIRL GROUP FROM NEW YORK CITY. AND ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR GROUPS OF THE 60'S THE ROLLING STONES WERE THEIR WARM UP BAND AT ONE TIME! THEY WERE THE ONLY GIRL GROUP TO TOUR WITH THE BEATLES! A PHIL SPECTER MASTERPIECE HE PRODUCED TO SHOWCASE HIS "WALL OF SOUND" APPROACH TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. THIS LP IS PACKED WITH SMASH HITS.
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1964 FIRST PRESSING ON THE YELLOW PHILLES LABEL WITH RED PRINT #PHLP-4006 RECORDED IN HIGH FIDELITY. GOLDMINE VALUES THIS AT $400 IN NM CONDITION I HAVE SEEN THE NICER ONES SELL IN THE $500-600 RANGE!
VISUALLY, THE THICK VINYL PLATTER IS IN VG+ to EX-(minus) CONDITION. I HAVE EXAMINED THIS UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT AND SEE THAT THE PLATTER HAS RETAINED A MOST OF IT'S ORIGINAL DEEP RICH LUSTER. PLENTY OF SHINE HERE!
I DO SEE MANY LIGHT PAPER SCUFFS/ABRASIONS/HAIRLINES. THERE WERE SEVERAL LONGER HAIRLINE SCRATCHES BUT NOTHING CONSIDERED DEEP ENOUGH TO BE FEEL-ABLE NOR WOULD OF THE ABOVE WOULD SERIOUSLY EFFECT THE EXCELLENT LISTENING EXPERIENCE. THANKS TO THE WONDERFUL DEEP GROOVE PRESSING! The matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 looks like MR in a circle (appears to be stamped in) then etched not stamped is 5000 A Then what looks like Re (in script) there is also a small triangle 7158X also etched in. Side II looks like MR in a circle (appears to be stamped in) then etched not stamped is 5001 A Then what looks like Re (in script) there is also a small triangle 7158X also etched in.
THE LABELS ARE FREE OF ANY WRITING OR STICKERS AND AS YOU CAN SEE ARE VG TO EX-(MINUS) AND THEY SHOW MINOR WEAR.
BASED ON THE ABOVE IMPERFECTIONS I FEEL THE VINYL GRADES AS VG+
THE COVER IS IN NICE CONDITION AND PRESENTS WELL! THERE IS NO WRITING OR STICKERS ANYWHERE! THE SPINE IS STRONG TIGHT WITH SOME WEAR AND MOSTLY READABLE. THERE IS A TINY PIECE OF CLEAR TAPE NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE LOWER SEAM TO WARD OFF A POTENTIAL SPLIT. OTHERWISE, THE SEAMS ARE UN-SPLIT WITH MINOR WEAR. THERE APPEARS TO BE MINOR EVIDENCE OF SOME RING WEAR TO THE FRONT SIDE. THERE ARE SOME CORNER DINGS AS WELL AS SOME OTHER MINOR BRUISES.
THERE IS MINOR DISCOLORATION THAT IS SO VERY TYPICAL WITH THIS WHITE COVER! THERE IS SOME SPOTTING NEAR THE LOWER LEFT CORNER AND MINOR PAPER LOSS IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER WHERE APPARENTLY A PRICE STICKER WAS REMOVED.
THE REVERSE SIDE LINER NOTES ARE VERY CLEAN INFORMATIVE AND TOTALLY READABLE!
THERE ARE SOME MINOR CORNER DINGS/ CREASES/STAINING/SOILING AS SHOWN.
BASED ON THE ABOVE IMPERFECTIONS THE COVER GRADES VG+ AS WELL
I HAVE PLAY GRADED THIS AND THE LISTENING EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT!!!
THERE WAS SOME MINOR NOISE THAT CAN BE HEARD UNDERNEATH THE MUSIC HERE AND THERE MOSTLY IN THE QUIET PASSAGES. A FEW SOFT TICS HERE AND THERE. BUT THERE WERE NO DISTRACTING SKIPS, STICKS, POPS, TICKS, CLICKS, HISSES OR BURPS! THE LISTENING EXPERIENCE GRADES AS EXCELLENT!
OVERALL CONSIDERING ALL OF THE ABOVE THIS ROCKIN' LP GRADES VG TO EX-(MINUS)! A GREAT PIECE OF ROCK & ROLL HISTORY THAT WILL PROVIDE THE NEW OWNER WITH MANY YEARS OF LISTENING PLEASURE! PLEASE NOTE: RECORDS ARE STRICTLY GRADED AND NOT RETURNABLE SO PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASING!

WE USE GOLDMINE AS GUIDELINE FOR OUR GRADING SYSTEM. ALL RECORDS ARE VISUALLY INSPECTED UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT. I TRY TO PLAY GRADE WHEN POSSIBLE OR AT LEAST IN ANY AREAS IDENTIFIED AS QUESTIONABLE FROM THE VISUAL INSPECTION.
MINT
Mint records are in most cases sealed in original shrink wrap. The only wear permissible is to the shrink wrap itself.
NEAR-MINT
NM records have glossy vinyl. There are no visible defects such as writing, tape, or stickers on the labels. The labels should not contain any spindle marks(from someone blindly trying to put the record on the turntable) The vinyl may have a few extremely fine hairline scratches or light scuffs that do not affect the sound quality. The vinyl will "appear" to have been un-played (It may very well have been played and well-cared for)The album cover will have NO writing, tape, creases, folds, seam splits, stains, ring wear or Promo holes or cuts!
VG+(EXCELLENT)
VG+records have glossy vinyl. Slight signs of wear, including light scuffs, very light scratches or slight warping that does not seriously affect the listening experience is permissible. Very slight intermittent background noise mostly in the quiet passages is acceptable.
The album cover will have no more than three of the following imperfections: light writing such as initials or name in one area, minor creasing, seam splits not larger than 1". Neatly taped seams of 2" or less.It may also contain very slight ring wear or discoloration, a promo stamp, punch hole or cut-out as originally sold.
VG (VERY GOOD)
VG Records have more obvious flaws such as more pronounced scratches & lack of gloss. Groove wear and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail are common. When played there will be surface noise but it should not continuously overpower the music. There areNO skips permissible with no more than 1.5 grahams of tracking force. It is common to hear crackling and pops especially in the quiet passages. The labels may contain writing such as a persons name or initials or it may contain a piece of tape or sticker with or without writing. The cover may have some seam splits, writing, tape, stickers, ring wear and scuffs.
VG-
VG- All of the defects listed VG category would be more pronounced. The record will play through without skipping WITH tracking force. A quick skip or two with no more that 2.5 grahams of tracking force are permissible. The record will have many obvious flaws but still enjoyable to listen to. Generally if the record is rare, it is still highly collectible.
G/G+
Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping WITH tracking force. A quick skip or two with no more that 2.5 grahams of tracking force are permissible. It will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white). A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU CAN TAKE THE TIME TO READ & UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION! I WOULD BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PICTURES PRIOR TO PURCHASING. THANK YOU!!
