Description

A brilliant item - my spare copy of the 40-page official POSTCARD RECORDS Booklet from 1981. Staplebound. Super-rare and highly essential. A history of that fantastic independent record label from the inside. Has to be seen to be believed ! There were quite a few nice publications like this around that time, like The Raincoats' official booklet.

Catalogue of Postcard's output; great photos of bands including The Nu-Sonics who predated Orange Juice; lyrics; drawings; loads of carefully handwritten text.

Cover is somewhat faded and discoloured and has a few little coffee spots on (like that when I got it). There are black ink spots on the cover but those are actually part of the design ! The page edges are discoloured and there is some creasing inside, though nothing really severe - photos aren't folded through or anything.

A very rare opportunity for anyone seriously interested in independent music to pick up this invaluable gem.
