Description
This is the start of a large collection of hard rock, psyche, prog, etc... check back for more, I will be listing every few days. All lps are from my own collection which has taken up a lot of room over the 35+ years. I am a fair grader, all vinyls unless noted are visually graded. I am also a member of the Record Collectors Guild
Polestar1 - Flying Thru the Universe on Rascal Records. Awesom Xian prog hard rock. Awesome Hammond keyboard and guitar work. For fans of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath etc... this is a highly prized lp in prog collector circles so BID HARD. Jacket VG+ and vinyl is a-NM, only played a few times, this lps sounds great w/ an occasional dust induced pop
With an upfront attack of two guitarists and a multi keyboardist POLESTAR 1 create a powerful album filled with complex moves, strong enough to excite more than a few collectors 'out there'...
A conceptual self composed journey, the main focus is on heavy guitar duels and swirling keyboard within a space rock context -- mixed with progressive structures, melodic heavenly passages suddenly bursting into turned-on burning guitar action; the razor piercing speed solos should captivate any listener -- but it's not all heavy -- there's plenty of substance and variation quality layering the production into a first rate thrilling ride for sure ... aptly named, Flying Through The Universe is just that...and these guys can play!
