Near Mint (NM or M-): A "Near Mint" record is near perfect. There are no or only very slight signs of wear.
The record may have occasional some very light hairlines that in no way affect the playing of the record.
The cover may have very minimal signs of wear only. See pictures.
Excellent (EX): An "Excellent" record shows some light signs of wear.
The record could have some light hairlines and light surface marks that do not affect the playback.
Maybe very light background sound here and there.

Very Good Plus (VG+): A "Very Good Plus" record shows some signs of wear.
The record have some hairlines and surface marks but no deep scratches or like that.
