Description
I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. However, in the case of the EU all purchases are subject to VAT which eBay collect at point of sale.
I recently purchased a stunning Pink Floyd collection where all the records and covers have been so well preserved by the previous owner. I am selling the majority of them during this auction.
Pink Floyd : Relics A1/B2 1st Press
This first pressing plays to a superb standard for the vast majority with only minimal interference as stated below. The vinyl is visually very impressive and has not been played very much at all.
The textured cover is a genuine highlight and is easily one of the best I have ever seen. It is incredibly clean and the inner sleeve is also in great condition.
Only a genuine first press has the A1/B2 matrix.

Visual grading
The vinyl is in great condition and still has a very impressive glossy sheen. I can only a very small number of very hairlines and a couple of very small faint horizontal type scratches on S2. When you look at the record you don't see them they are so faint and it's only when you play it that you know there is something causing the minimal interference. The blue Starline labels are in lovely condition with only very minimal spindle wear.
Play grading
The classic 'Arnold Layne' plays with stunning precision with no sign of any interference. The clarity and depth of the audio is second to none whereby each and every note is just so clean. This is a Mint start to the album.
'Interstellar Overdrive' also plays with great quality with no ticks, clicks, pops or static. Perhaps a minor amount of distortion but it is so minimal and probably due to the way it was mastered/pressed. In no way is it intrusive and is hardly worth a mention! A very impressive version overall and Near Mint is a fair assessment.
Another early classic in 'See Emily Play' and it plays with so clearly from start to finish with no interference. Great depth on this track also. Mint-
'Remember A Day' plays to the same standard. Remember this first pressing was released in May '71 so to find it playing as well as this is a rarity indeed. Mint-
For a final track 'Paintbox' plays with great clarity and there is no inner groove distortion at all. The clarity and depth of the audio is second to none and this again deserves a Mint- grade.

It may not have been a favourite with the rest of the band but 'Julia Dream' penned by Waters nonetheless plays beautifully with no interference. The clarity and warmth of the audio is exceptional and Mint is an easy grade to give. No need for a minus here it could not play any better. Stunning!
The quiet intro on 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene' is so clean and this quality is maintained as it progresses. There are a couple of swipe/click sounds towards the end but that is literally the only intrusion. The actual clarity of sound is so impressive and overall Ex+ is about right.
The very quiet 'Cirrus Minor' plays with outstanding clarity for the majority with only 5/6 tick/click sounds during the mid instrumental section. Aside from that it plays perfectly so will grade as Ex+ accordingly.
'The Nile Song' plays with great power and there is no interference and no obvious distortion either. Near Mint
The quiet opening on 'Biding My Time' plays very clearly but with some light ticks here and there, they are hardly intrusive. From then on it plays with stunning clarity, power and depth and...no interference. The intro is Ex+ but the rest is Mint for sure.
The classic 'Bike' ends the album with audio that cannot be faulted. I am confident in grading it as Mint it is that good. Even the brief quiet section near the end has no 'background'.
In summary this first pressing plays with superb audio for the vast majority. There is only very minimal interference on S2 but it hardly gets in the way of the 'listen'. The clarity, warmth and definition of the audio overall is very impressive and this is an album that has clearly not been over-played.
The Cover & Inner Sleeve
The textured G&L cover is one of the cleanest I have seen and remains in superb condition with barely any wear. The edges and thin pinched spine have no rubbing and there is no obvious corner wear either. The opening edge has no handling wear and the front cover is so clean with no marking and has only very minor creasing next to the spine that you can hardly see anyway. The back cover is just as impressive it is totally unmarked. I can't really fault it, a stunning example.
The plain white die-cut inner sleeve is in superb condition with no splits or marking and barely any creasing.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable // B & W 684 Speakers
This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
