" THE PINK FLOYD PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN " 12 INCH ALBUM, COLUMBIA SX6157 MONO XAX 3419-2 / XAX 3420-1
HISTORY : I bought this album from my local Woolworths Store, probably early 1968 and has been in my possession ever since. This is the only copy of this album I have ever owned and the album sleeve / record and inner bag are the original combined packaging as at the date of purchase. I do not currently own a turntable and the record has not been played since the end of the 1990s or thereabouts.
VINYL : Side 1 Almost no marks whatsoever apart from a scuff across tracks 2 &3. When last played there was an audible click in the quieter parts of these two tracks but with no sticking or jumping of the stylus.
Side 2 One very feint mark otherwise excellent.
Spindle marks visible when tilted to the light. No sticking or groove skipping anywhere when record last played.
SLEEVE : Laminated front in good condition with two small wrinkles just to the right of the letter " D ". Reverse is also in good clean condition with only very minor discolouration on the very inner edge of the flipbacks.
INNER BAG : Very slight browning with age. Minor gap to the seam on the lower edge but no other splits . Only very minor creasing.
GENERAL : Potential bidders please look carefully at photos etc. I am aware that early Floyd collectors are very particular and I have therefore tried my best to describe this item as accurately and honestly as I can. Any questions please EMail seller.
