Description
This is the original UK LP by PINK FLOYD, SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS, 1st Press MONO, released in June 1968 on the black and blue COLUMBIA label SX 6258 with the "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credit on the label, and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, side 1:- XAX 3633-1, side 2:- XAX 3634-1, stamper codes are, side 1:- 1/O, side 2:- 2/H. The LP comes complete with the original EMI inner sleeve and the original 1968 1st issue MONO Garrod and Lofhouse laminated flipback cover.
The original UK 1968 1st issue Garrod and lofthouse flipback cover is in EX+ condition, lovely and clean front and back, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable, the cover boasts razor sharp edges and corners, their is a very small light crease on the laminated front cover, top left, and the back flipbacks have a little light lamination creasing, both are not visually intrusive and donot hamper what is a essentially a SUPERB and RARE cover, the cover maintains all it's great vibrant colour on the front, whilst the back is jet back, with NO scuffs, a SUPERB cover!.
The vinyl is visually in EX+++ condition, with only a few very very light hairline marks, and only one very small LIGHT mark, which DONOT effect the AUDIO PLAY of this STUNNING LP AT ALL, the audio grading is a STUNNING MINT-, the vinyl plays with STUNNING CLEAR, CRISP CLARITY, a ABSOLUTLY SUPERB LISTENING EXPERIENCE!!!!!, the vinyl maintains all it's original gleaming shine and lustre, STUNNING condition!.
The label's are in STUNNING condition, side 1 label is MINT-, side 2:- is EX+++, showing minimal wear to the silver rim, both label's are lovely and crisp and clean, with no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal hole show very very minimal wear, consisitant with the SUPERB condition of the vinyl, KT tax code is emossed in the centre of side 1's label.
The vinyl is housed in original UK EMI inner sleeve and in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, SUPERB condition.
Altogether a STUNNING COPY of this ULTRA RARE original 1968 UK 1st Press MONO LP, by PINK FLOYD, SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS.
