VINYL CONDITION NEAR MINT
Both surfaces appear to be unmarked when viewed in normal daylight, under powerful spot lamp just one very faint and extremely fine sleeve removal wisp line is just about visible. There are NO scratches or hairlines on either surface. Grooves are extremely clean, and the vinyl has a new look with deep shine. The vinyl is completely flat when viewed on a rotating turntable.
LABEL CONDITION EXCELLENT PLUS
Clean unmarked labels with some moderately light spindle trace lines on side one and two, a sure sign that the record has clearly been play but the condition of the vinyl demonstrates careful handling.
AUDIO GRADING STUNNING NEAR MINT
Outstanding audio quality. Clean sounding throughout all tracks and exceptionally clean intros . Pink Floyd's More album has many tracks with delicate passages and almost silent in places, so it's vital to here nothing but the music as intended. This 1969 1st Press has an audio with, brilliant sound separation and clean clarity throughout a big ask from this album..
I tested the Audio on my Michell Gyrodec equipped with a quality MC cartridge at loud volume and feel the audio is easily Near Mint.
SLEEVE CONDITION EXCELLENT
This 1st Press Cover manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd has front laminate only, with the windmill artwork taken from the film printed in bold colours on front. The back of the cover has the flip-backs also another image from the film of the couple facing West, the image has the green tint only found on the 1st press covers, as later issues have the couple facing East and a black and white image, however this cover has the date code 6907 and File Under Popular: Film and Shows printed in the top right. The cover is solid with no structural damage, and without major wear. The front laminate has retained a nice gloss, and corners are still square. Spine text is clearly readable and upper and lower pinched corners are still nicely defined. There are some creases to the spine on the front and some marks to the untreated back of the cover, still a great cover.
INNER SLEEVE CONDITION NEAR MINT
The original inner EMI advertising sleeve is without fault and grades easily near mint, without any splits to any of the seams.
RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD the record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing
