Description

PINK FLOYD ECHOES - BEST OF 3 LP SET 2001 COMPLETE, ORIGINAL, EXCELLENT CONDITION ALL ROUND MADE IN EU; LIMITED EDITION
Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. Long out of print, I’m very pleased to offer this beautiful limited edition box set which is the definitive Pink Floyd compilation. I recently acquired another copy of this set still unplayed and sealed so it’s time to sell this one.
I bought this new in 2005, sometime after the band’s last ever appearance together on Live 8. It’s been played a few times then carefully stored.
The outer slipcase and all four inner and outer sleeves are all present.
The outer slipcase is in NEAR MINT condition. No nasty dings or tears. Just a small sticker tear at the back saying’made in the EU’ which I’m sure will come off, I’ll leave that to the winning bidder.
All four outer record covers are in NEAR MINT condition. No rips, creases or tears whatsoever.
The inner sleeves:  The inners are all present and the ones for record 1 and 4 are in NEAR MINT condition. On the inner sleeves of records 2 and 3 you can see a very small tear at the bottom - and I mean v small, but otherwise they are fully intact. I therefore will grade them as in EXCELLENT condition. No nasty marks on any of them.
The records: 180G Heavyweight vinyl. All four sides play beautifully, a little bit of light crackle on the run-in grooves but nothing major. NO JUMPS OR SKIPS. A few very light, non-sounding sleeve removal marks visible on all sides under a bright light.
Side 1 however has a few more noticeable light marks, particularly on the run out groove, and a few light ticks can be heard on ‘The Great Gig In The Sky’, however these don’t overwhelm the music. Side 1 I would therefore conservatively grade in VG+ condition. Side 2 is in EX condition. Side 3 is in EX+ condition. Side 4 is in Ex+ condition. Side 5 is in EX+ condition. Side 6 is in EX+ condition.
BREATHTAKING AUDIO throughout! I’ve cleaned the records on all 8 sides with my record cleaning kit and played them right through so that you can be sure that they have been tested. I’ll also include the Nagaoka inner record sleeves that I put inside of the inner sleeves of all my records for extra protection, and the set will be packed together very carefully when I send to the winning buyer. It’s quite a heavy item and I will use plenty of protective materials so the postage cost reflects this.
The record labels are all in NEAR MINT condition with no spindle traces or marks at all.
Sensible offers accepted, this is a terrific compilation and is hard to find on vinyl.
The tracks include: ASTRONOMY DOMINE, SEE EMILY PLAY, THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF OUR LIVES, ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL PART II, MAROONED, THE GREAT GIG IN THE SKY, ECHOES, HEY YOU, COMFORTABLY NUMB and loads more!
Buy with confidence. All my records are carefully stored in protective covers and all my items are genuine and original and from a non-smoking and non pet home.
Please remember you’re bidding to buy. UK bidders only please, sorry and no time wasters please. Non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay and negative feedback left.
Payment via PayPal please, within 2 days. I’ll send to the winning buyer within 2 days.
Any questions, or if you want to see any more photos then please message me on here.
I’m not a dealer, just an avid music listener and collector of vinyl records and a long term Floyd fan.
I think this is a reasonable starting bid for this very sought after set.
Check my feedback for peace of mind, it tells its own story.
Good luck and happy bidding!?
