It's been a  while...  But we are back to commence our regular selection of true Nr Mint Psych/Prog/Folk & Classic Rock vinyl LP's & 7"s. By way of apologies to our regular buyers for being away so long, we have some very special auctions commencing this week. Check them all out Here

Here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings I have found.  My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, most now have to find new homes. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist unless you own a time machine and go back and bag a job in a 1960's record pressing plant!)

You are bidding on the very rare UK 1st pressing of the awesome 'Atom Heart Mother' by Pink Floyd. This album is especially difficult to find in anything above VG to Ex- condition today. It always turns up with tatty-looking sleeves and scratched 1st press discs. This one however, is something else. It is my own personal copy that has been archived for over 30 years and is in pristine condition with stunning pristine vinyl/sleeve & inner sleeve. I have never seen a better copy of this album in all my years of searching. Do not miss this opportunity...

The classic green/yellow Harvest 1st press centre labels (with No EMI Logo's) are in superb Mint- condition!!! They have NO Tears, NO Scribbles. NO lifting or Bubbling and NO unwanted writing or scribbles of any kind to whatsoever! They have only the very faintest traces of spindle lines that can only be seen when angling the record toward strong light! Aside from the play grade, this record looks to have only been played a 2 or 3 times ever before!

What can I say about this the quality pressed thick & chunky vinyl  - It is stunning!!!  It has NO Scratches, NO Hairlines, NO Scuffing and NO Warping! This disc looks like it came off the master press this morning!!! It has all the deep shine a newly pressed record that as only ever been played once or twice before!!!  The record still retains ALL its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays as good as it looks!!! It it has NO jumps, NO skips and NO nasty loud pops!!! I am very fussy about the audio quality of the records I sell and you can reset assured that you will not find a cleaner playing example of this 1st pressing. The quality pressed 1970's vinyl looks and feels great! I have no hesitation whatsoever with grading this vinyl as a **Excellent+++** (most eBay sellers would give it a straight *Nr Mint* grading!) Please rest assured that this copy of Atom Heart Mother is suitable for the highest grade UK 1st Press Floyd/Harvest collection - you will not find a better example of this very rare 1st pressing! r

The classic 1st issue un-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is probably the best example I have ever seen! This sleeve has retained all of its stiff box shape and does not have that lifeless floppy feel you find with ALL other copies of this fragile sleeve! Also when these 1st issue sleeves turn up nowadays, they are totally worn out-looking with severe corner & edge wear, stains and terrible ring wear (especially to the back) due mostly to non-lamination.  This however, is a superb example with NO tears, NO scribbles, NO colour fading, NO unwanted writing of any kind and NO ring wear at all!!! The corners and edges have no visible wear (save for a very light nudge to one corner) and as I mentioned above it is *unbelievably stiff and rigid* for this sleeve - just like new! It is completely blemish free and has only the very lightest small square shadow on the front side. Even with this small shadow on the front I am giving this a superb Excellent+++ grading, as it is impossible to find this sleeve in this condition anymore.

Of course, this comes with it's original 'Harvest ads' inner sleeve with correct 'Patent No' and 'Made in Gt. Britain' text. This inner sleeve is a very cool item in itself, featuring 25+ obscure Harvest album covers by the likes of Kevin Ayres, The Battered Ornaments, Quatermass, Forest, Edgar Broughton, Roy Harper, Bakerloo, Alchemy and many more... It acts as a great reference point for anyone thinking of beginning a Harvest collection...

Do not underestimate the rarity of this record and sleeve in this kind of condition. If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential UK 1st pressing to own in this complete and beautiful condition!!! Don't miss this one!

I will be selling my entire UK 1st Press collection of 1960/70's Psych/Prog./Beat/Rock & Folk over the coming months, most of these records are in Mint- condition, many having 3 figure book prices. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
