Stunning Original 1971 Very Thick & Chunky UK Harvest 'Meddle' by Pink Floyd!!! On Original UK Yellow/Green Harvest Labels & Complete with Mega Rare UK 1st Press Textured Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve & Original EMI Logo Inner Sleeve!!! This is One of the Most Beautiful UK Pressings You Will See!!! From My Own Keepers Collection!!!

You are bidding on another essential UK Pink Floyd pressing from my mostly Nr Mint UK Psych/Prog collection.  This is the stunning duplicate to another beautiful UK pressing of Meddle I sold recently on eBay (item # 270065778979). This is another pristine original UK 1971 Harvest/EMI stereo original yellow/green Harvest Pressing of the all-time prog. classic by Pink Floyd!!! Like my last pressing, what makes this record so special is its superb condition, you just never see original UK copies of Meddle like this anymore. This is the Original 1971 UK stereo (this was never released on Mono and unlike many 1st press Harvest albums, was never released without the EMI box on the label) UK pressing on the Yellow/Green Harvest Label with 'Made in Gt. Britain' centre label text!!! What's more, it comes complete with its ORIGINAL 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse textured gatefold sleeve which is isn pristine Near Mint condition!!! It is also  complete with it's ORIGINAL 1st press EMI Logo Inner sleeve!!! Like I said above, what really makes this copy stand out is its exceptional condition throughout!!!  It has been archived in my own personal Nr Mint collection for the best part of 30 years and is one of the best examples you will see of this original UK pressing! A stunning record suitable for the highest grade Mint Pink Floyd/Prog. collection!!! The cool 1970's quality pressed thick and chunky vinyl is in visually and aurally stunning condition and shines with a 'just pressed' look and feel, it really looks as if this record came off the press yesterday!!! Although there are still one or two of these LP's kicking about in the UK; they are usually much later inferior European re-pressings. On the rare occasions you see UK pressings, they are usually never in this kind of condition!!! Like the last copy I sold, you will probably have to push the boat out a bit for this one as the bidding will be high, but whoever wins this record can rest assured that they will be the owners of an rare UK pressing in absolutely exceptional condition throughout - good luck!

This LP is in Pristine throughout!!! The Classic yellow/green Centre Labels are in superb condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind, there are just the lightest wispy spindle traces that can only be seen when holding the record angled against strong light.

As described above - the vinyl itself is in superb condition!!! NO Scratches, NO Groovewear & NO Warping. It is an outstanding copy with a beautiful mirror-like shine with just very light waxy surface marks and the faintest of paper-lines (on side 2) that can only be seen when angling the record against very strong light. I am very pleased to state that plays as good as it looks with NO Crackle, NO horrible loud Pops, NO Jumps, NO Skips and NO hissing!!! It easily grades as Excellent Plus (most would grade as Nr Mint)!! Please remember this is an original early UK Harvest pressing and is visually and aurally far superior to the later and much more common  late 1970's and 1980's repressings. This record plays Nr Mint - one of the best examples you will hear!!! It is perfectly quiet between tracks with NO hissing, virtually NO crackling and obviously NO jumps and NO pops etc!!! Absolutely beautiful!!! The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!).

Now we get to the classic 1st press Textured Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve and I am very pleased to report that it is also in absolutely beautiful condition with NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!!  It is completely blemish free!!! Just like the one I sold previously - this is one of the best examples of this UK 1st issue textured Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves you will see. What is so amazing about this sleeve is that it has kept ALL of it's box shape and still has a MINT spine (with mint legible spine text)& edges and Nr mint sharp corners!!! The mostly white inner gatefold is also Nr Mint. This part of the sleeve is typically prone to grubbiness, but this one is perfect; crisp and white with no blemishes of grubbiness etc. It is pristine!!! This amazing sleeve is as close to perfect as you are ever going to get; - it is museum quality!!! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with NO RING WEAR and NO faults at all - it's as simple as that!!! This sleeve easily grades as Nr Mint!!! Impossible for this fragile textured un-laminated sleeve!!! Of course, the LP comes with its Original and correct EMI box logo inner sleeve. It is also in crisp, clean and un-blemished Nr Mint condition!!!

Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!  This is seen by many as one of the best progressive records ever made -  and UK 1st press copies in such stunning condition are as such is in very high demand today. If you have never heard it, you will not find another copy that looks or plays more pristinely than this- it will blow you away!!! If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential (and very rare) record to own!!! It has recently been pointed out to me that some eBay sellers have been using my images without permission. If you are thinking of using a picture or two from my pages - please don't. You will be reported and your auction will be removed by eBay. It's not that I mind, in fact its kinda flattering, my real problem is that whoever does this is not showing a true image of the actual record they are selling. The condition of old 1960's & 70's records varies greatly, no two are in exactly the same condition when they are this age. Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it.
