For sale here is a first UK pressing of their 1977 album "ANIMALS".
Part of a huge (over 150 albums) Floyd collection I have been asked to sell. I do not have time to play-grade them all, so the assessment is visual. I have been collecting vinyl for over 50 years now, so have a good idea of how an album might sound. Any obvious marks will be noted.
ANIMALS. Very earliest UK pressing A2/B2. There is none earlier. The cover is in super condition. Aside of the very lightest handling signs, this has no issues at all aside of a small patch on the front about the size of a thumb nail, which is dimpled as shown in one of my photos. This is only noticeable when angled into good light. The inner is in fine shape too. The vinyl is gorgeous. Has a deep black lustre and gleams. No marks that cause concern at all. This is a very clean example. There are some extras included in the sale. Firstly, an original and genuine souvenir tour programme from the 1977 promotional tour. This is in great shape with only the lightest handling marks. These fetch good money as a stand alone item, but nice to have it present with a first pressing. Also I am including a postcard and a sticker, both depicting the Battersea power station artwork used in conjunction with the album. Both are in super condition.
The record has been visually appraised, and graded as Ex. I can see no reason that this will not play to at least Ex standard, and possibly better than that. If for any reason the winning bidder is not entirely happy, I offer a full no quibble refund, including postage. Please no attempts at part refunds. I have been down that road far too many times. I WILL NOT part refund. It is all or nothing.
All vinyl is posted out in a new anti-static sleeve and heavy duty polythene cover for the outer sleeves. All in the price. Postage is 2nd class signed for. I post very quickly with extremely robust packaging. Please check out my feedback for highly delighted buyers and return buyers.

I have over 150 Pink Floyd albums from this collection and simply do not have time to play-grade. However I have been collecting vinyl since the late 60's, so know a thing or two about how a vinyl looks compared to how it sounds..... and with a no quibble refund promised, there is nothing to lose.
